Welcome to the Green Bricks Education Society. The purpose of our organization is to involve BC youth in sustainable land use and development through curriculum-linked outreach programs.

Green Bricks is pleased to offer two interactive sustainability workshops, free of charge, to secondary and elementary classrooms across British Columbia during the 2011/12 school year:

1. Green B10cks

Green B10cks is offered to Science 10/Planning 10 classrooms. Since 2007, Green B10cks has been engaging students to understand the importance and benefits of sustainable building issues in their schools and communities and reaches 125 classrooms annually.

2. Green Bricks H24

Green Bricks H24 was piloted in 2011 and is now being offered to 60 grade 4 classrooms. This curriculum-connected workshop engages students to understand the importance of water in our lives and how we can manage water sustainably into the future.

“Great presentation! The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging. Ideas are explained very clearly and the activities very interactive and relevant.” Vincie Kam, King George Secondary
